Turn Structure

Beginning of Turn

  • Effects that trigger at the beginning of a turn happen.
  • Any sleeping creatures the active player controls will become awake.
  • Poison and Regenerate amounts are applied to all creatures.
  • Armor damage capacity values are reset.

Main Phase

A player may do things in any order:

  • Play a card.
  • Battle.
  • Move an awake creature that has Mobility.
  • Use an awake creature's Activate ability.

The Battle action is mandatory. All other choices are optional.

End of Turn

  • Discard the remaining cards in your hand and draw five cards.
  • If it is the fourth turn of the rank, your discard pile is shuffled into your deck.
  • Effects that trigger at the end of turn or when you rank up happen.
  • Effects that last until the end of turn wear off.
